Ocean Alive, Water's Edge, Original Sculpture

Inspired by the flowing rhythms of my Ocean Alive series, Water's Edge transforms the fleeting patterns of light dancing across the ocean's surface into a sculptural form. Crafted from steel with a durable black powder coat finish, each sweeping line traces the energy of water in motion, currents colliding, reflections shifting, and waves continuously reshaping themselves.

Unlike a painting confined to a single viewpoint, this sculpture evolves as you move around it. Every angle reveals a new composition of curves and negative space, inviting the viewer to experience the ever-changing nature of the sea. Light passes through the open form, casting shadows that become part of the artwork itself, much like sunlight rippling across shallow water.

Minimal in material yet expressive in form, Water's Edge balances strength with elegance. The solid steel construction gives permanence to something inherently fleeting, capturing a single moment of movement and preserving it in three dimensions.
