Named after the Italian word for "layers," Strati explores the ocean as a living archive, where every current, tide, reflection, and passing season adds another layer to its ever-changing story.

Soft veils of cobalt, turquoise, and white are built upon one another, revealing fragments of line, circular forms, and delicate markings that seem to emerge and disappear beneath the surface. Like looking through shifting water, the composition invites viewers to slow down and discover new details with every glance.

Rather than depicting the ocean itself, Strati captures the passage of time within it. The painting reflects how the sea continually reshapes itself while quietly preserving the memories of everything it has touched.
